I stated almost all year the Phils would break my heart and lose the wild card by one game. Did I have to f**kin be rediculously right like this?

Might as well have been 50 games out as far as I'm concerned. A loss in the playoffs wouldn't have bothered me. Another 162 games for absolutely f**kin nothing.

Tough loss for them - I thought they had a great chance, especially after that game a few weeks ago where they came back from 5 runs down in the ninth inning. But, too many losses to the Mets down the stretch did them in.

Besides, the Phils found some nice young players this year (Utley and Howard come to mind) to build with for next year.
