ok ok...what are the different scenarios for the BoSox/Tribe?

My understanding is if Cleveland wins tomorrow, and Boston loses, they end up with identical records. If that's the case, then they'd play a one-game playoff in Boston. If they had won today, win tomorrow, with Boston losing both, they'd be in automatically.

It's unfortunate, really, as they were one of the really good feel-good stories in the bigs this year.

yes, they fell apart this past week.

you can't NOT score runs with the bases loaded day after day and win games.

I would agree with the commentators today.....they're trying too hard now.

Tribe needs to focus on winning that game, and not worrying about any other team.

Can't say I blame them...their youth and inexperience are what has them pushing, when august and september they were simply playing out of their minds without thinking about the other players.

I agree they may be trying too hard, but the Chisox have blown many many chances to put those 2 games away with some stupid baseball, especially not staying off some bad pitches.

That it could always be worse and they could play in Detroit!
