I've been meaning to get one of those 1911-2001 Canadian Dollars but never got around to doing it. Nice medal also.

Moi, aussi.

I get the feeling many are in the hands of dealers and speculators, and I've feared their eventual drop in value. Then again, since I'm trying to collect all Canadian dollar coins it's only a matter of time until I buy one.

Nice haul, Yes, I have the set of medals in bronze, silvered bronze and the silver. The Gold one is still out there waiting, the last two sold for more than $2000.

Even though I don't collect George III shillings but do collect Victoria medals and Canadian silver dollars, I think the shilling is the best looking coin of the lot.
