I am not sure "scalping" tickets is necessary illegal. Some cities/states have laws related to scalping within a certain distance of a venue, on a college campus, etc... but scalping tickets is probably legal. I am not a GA lawyer so don't take my word for it though. Good luck.

I've had good luck buying and selling tickets on ebay.

When I have posted tickets on ebay they have put on the disclaimer about the legal limit that can be collected for an event in that state (in this case NY). If you dig deeper into ebay help you can probably find something.

I've sold concert tickets at a premium on Ebay. Ebay hasn't enforced their rules on scalping. At least when I sell.

I have bought and sold concert tickets on Ebay a few times - never an issue. It might be too late now, but I like StubHub for sports tickets. I think you need to have them listed on there at least a week before the game.

I work part time as a small ticket broker to help pay for beer money each month. There are certain states that do have resale laws but for the most part it is fine. I read in some magazine that internet ticket sales are now the 3rd most highest growing internet market behind porn and gambling.

Stub hub is a great site since you never have to worry about dead beat buyers, best of luck with your sales but it's going to be really tough moving those this close to the game. Try craiglist.com and put an add there and you will hit your local market.

Actually, I think stubhub sucks. never once have a seen a ticket reasonably priced. Ebay all the way for tickets.

On stub hub prices are higher because they charge the sellers a 15% fee as opposed to the lower fees on ebay. I will never buy from stubhub but as a seller its great for me.
