A Mixture of Greyside/Darkside grades posted. ( Another batch added )

Only one BB this time, most of the coins were bought last summer in the UK in antique shops ( ie cheap ) the exceptions are the two Canadian PL which were crossovers ( cracked out ) from ICCS both were PL64.

    Nice grades. IMO,Canadian PL coins are always graded 1 or 2 points higher by US TPG than ICCS.

    IMO,Canadian PL coins are always graded 1 or 2 points higher by US TPG than ICCS.

    I mostly disagree. IMO, ICCS suffers from "grade compression". ICCS coins typically max out at 65, so an ICCS 65 could be a low 65 (PCGS 65), a nice 65 (PCGS 66) or a spectacular 65 (PCGS 67).

    Also, the ICCS grade is a technical grade, that separately designates Cameo, Heavy Cameo, and Ultra Heavy Cameo. PCGS does not make Cameo designations, but any Cameo can contribute to the eye appeal of the coin. PCGS includes eye appeal in the grade.
