Some recent finds...

I'm still here... just not getting out as much. Lunch breaks are even getting
tough for me due to a work "situation." (just ask demodigger- my company
has decided the majority of jobs can be done just as well over in India)

So, here are some recent finds. (not including the clad, several wheatbacks,
and piles of trash!)...

A nice, hefty, 14k gold ring (thicker than my own wedding ring) found in a ball
field during a lunch hunt:

Since I don't have model hands like LodiTom I thought I'd take a more "artistic"
shot to show the 14k marking image :

And some other fun finds:
925 silver bracelet, 1955 10 Groschen (Holey moley LM, it's a holed coin! image)...
told Zot about this one awhile back and am just now getting around to posting
it, 1945 and 1943 silver war nickels, 1972 1G Nederland, 1997 Ecuador 500
(Quintentos Sucres), and a gold (plated?) pin that says "Green Circle."

Hope everyone is well and has successful hunting...

By the way, I miss VTH image

    Dubba,
Thanks. Maybe we'll starting seeing more during the winter months at the beaches
if we get some good storms to take some sand out.

    Millennium,
Thanks. I'm not really sure. Here are a couple close-ups. Maybe a tie tack?

    Phut,
Thanks. You been getting out much? Weather is probably starting to get
better and hopefully that poison oak/ivy starts to die off for you guys out
    there.

    Laserart,
You been hunting with Phut lately? 40' of barb-wire sounds like something
he'd find though (along with a large cent, 2 cent and/or seated image)

    Thanks Speer and GR!

By the way, GR- I was at a friend's old home that has provided some arrow heads
and found a nice green sharp rock (almost sharp as a razor one one side). He
checked it out and said he thought it might be jade. (thought that was odd) But,
I was out there hoping I could find something to post for you to evaluate. image

    Joey!

You get a permission slip to be here on the forum?! image
As for the ring, you're talking about the one from the sig-line, right? (I submitted that story to them a few months ago) This most recent ring hasn't been posted anywhere else (at least not by me).

Family is well. Thanks. Hope all is well with you too (and that your md isn't covered with cob webs yet!)

Hmmm. Sure would like to see a picture of it. Jade or jadeit are seen in S. America with some frequency, but not much up in N. America. At least not in this part of it.

Keep your eye out, somethings bound to show it's self to you one day! image
