John, the coin has the toning and overall look which make me think business strike rather than Proof, but I can't tell for certain from the images.

It's very attractive, but the images aren't conducive to grading it, and buying uncertified coins like that is gambling.

Shouldnt a coin like that be slabbed? I bet it was BBed when it was sent in several times and the seller just gave up.

I was thinking business strike as well...I was trying to see the eagle's talons, which appear to be slightly weak...some proofs (or graded proofs) I have seen have this tendancy too, but the weakness makes me think business strike.

What I see looks sharply struck. However I only see part of the coin due to the tilt. This is one coin I'd like to see in hand before I bid...
