<< <i>Many of you who know me from the Sports Cards and Memorabilia Board know that I never really spammed that much until this baseball season when the Yankees had a horrid 19-30 start and the Yankee Bashers came out in droves. Well, the toll of Yankee bashing had taken a toll on me and I couldn't take it anymore. It is often said that Yankee fans are the worst but I contend some Yankee bashers are 10 times worst. A prime example of this is this thread.. Bottom line, Yankee Bashers are a jealous lot.
Regardless of the above statement, I can honestly say I have learned to like this spamming. Yankee Bashers, you have created a MONSTER.
By the way Yankee Bashers, the Yankees have the BEST record in baseball since their 19-30 start. Shanty-Townie, yes I know they are expected to do so with a $208 Mil payroll.... >>

TOS violations will be reported.
All the first amendment guarantees is freedom of prosecution by the government for things you say. It has NOTHING to do with postings on a internet, it has nothing to do with anything you buffoon.
Freedom of speech is not guaranteed on ANY privately maintained message board of any sort. If CU wanted to edit every single one of your posts with a 'Yankees Suck!' post, they could do it, because it's THEIR forum.
Learn the constiution before you invoke its name, you moronic twit.
<< <i>TOS? I guess you don't beleive in the 1st Amendment and free speech? Specifically show me where it says I volated. >>
UH-OH!
<< <i>5. You may not "spam" a Forum by posting the same message or other Materials on multiple occasions on the same day. >>
If that is the case there would be a lot of white space for you....oodles and oodles.
1. As a general rule of conduct on the Forums, before posting a message on the Forums, you should ask yourself if the message is something that you would say to someone if you were speaking to them in person. In other words, you should be polite, treat others with respect, and avoid taking a confrontational or belligerent tone.
2. You may disagree with an opinion expressed in a Forum, but refrain from attacking or disparaging (i.e. "flaming") the person who posted it.
3. As well as you can, please format your posts in standard English, using capital and lowercase letters in the traditional manner.
4. All posted Materials must directly relate to the topic of the Forum in which such Materials are posted.
5. You may not "spam" a Forum by posting the same message or other Materials on multiple occasions on the same day

Well, how about that?

So sapmmy you going to admit you were ignorant (again), and admit you didn't understand the first amendment doesn't apply to you here?
Or are you going to zigzag and act like you never posted that?

My Auctions
It is better to be thought a fool, than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt.
Saint Jude would be the only one left on this board. LOL.

Again you dodge, spammy.
First amendment does not apply to privately maintained message boards, and certainly doesn't apply unless the government is prosecuting you.
Moron.

When it says message does that mean reply or topic? The Axtell topic was started yesterday so it wouldn't be the same day if we are talking about topics.

This isn't really directed at Axtell.
Anything about people who post under multiple ID's? I'm good at sniffing that out. There is a poster in this thread doing so. They can't control themselves, so they create a new ID for their REALLY obnoxiuos personal attacks.

By clicking the "I Agree" button while signing up for this fine forum, you give up your right to free speech to an extent.

It's directed at Spammy but I thought the official accusation was that this thread was a duplicate of the one started by Axtell yesterday which wouldn't be in violation of rule 5 since it is not the same day.
And we all know who that poster is.

Yes we do, spammy.
Are you that addicted to attacking me (and those who call your BS out for what it is - BS) that you have to create alt IDs to do it?
Isn't there a yankee message board you can post 10000 threads a day and be considered a hero, instead of a nuisance like you are here?
When are you going to get it that NO ONE WANTS YOU HERE?

Sorry I misunderstood.
Actually, it's more of reminder to Gemmy about not spamming the forum with thread after thread, not a specific thread.

Yah, he definitely violates that rule but It only bothers when it's really bad. I usually only open a few of his threads if the topic looks like it might be of interest (the braveheart thread was worth it), but as it's been said before he keeps it interesting around here and as long as you don't let get under your skin it's not that bad.
<< <i>Oh, I wouldn't want him to get suspended for life... Just a little slap on the wrist just to let him know. >>
Actually I'd like him to be put down...it's for his own good and the good of the forum.
When he went on vacation (or did his wife/mother pull the plug on his internet access?) for a week, this forum had a lot of good discussions, and was a nice place to visit.
Now, it's a ghost town full of inane postings and rampant spamming.

Topic spamming is not that bad because you can ignore it, spamming into someone else's thread (trolling) is annoying. Axtell, what did happen to your "I'm not going to fight with Spammy anymore?". It was a good idea - the best way to deal with someone annoying you is to ignore it.
