2005 awards...please remind me....

I'm loosing it!! Is it atleast 65% complete to be given an award in any category?? as long as it's #1.....

And what about this....do you think more people would be inclined to jump at graded cards online, say within the next 2+ weeks...to hopefully add to their sets??
I currently have the 3rd 1987-88 Fleer basketball set(was 2nd until this week...lol)...while others are paying out their backsides to fill the top sets....I mean $25-$50 a common....geez...
What would you do if you were me?? Break the set and let it go card by card and let the other have at it...or simply try to sell it as a lot??
Keep in mind...that while others are paying alot of $$$ for their sets...I have $350 TOTAL into mine!!

You know the deal....grade a bunch of cards...sell the 10's off.....the 9's at that point are free....fill a few here...a few there...and poof....#3.......

My thoughts are to piece meal it....and whatever doesn't sell....just let it rot in an Ebay store.....

Do both if you have to, you have time. List the lot now for a price you'd be VERY HAPPY with, you may save some ebay fees and make a nice quick, high $$$ sale. If it doesn't sell in a week then piecemeal them out, or offer singles to the guys that need them on the Registry as you said some are paying high prices and you will save the ebay fees once again. Either way just a couple ideas from a fellow Massachusetts resident and ebay Powerseller.

BTW, how did the Mansfield show go for you? I was going to stop by but after working all night I wasn't too excited about driving 45 minutes each way. LMK, STEVE.

The show went well....it was the shock and awe routine!!

People who like the PSA cards were amazed at the stacks of cards...I think I had 2000+ from 1965-present...all sports...
Then the 2 tables with 5-8K cards all NM++ or better.....1961-1976.....

Then of course you got the lookey lou's who wanted a PSA 10 Wade Boggs 1984 Donruss card for $8.............they just didn't get the concept in grading...YES, they do exist....lol
Follow that up with the father and daughter (1-1.5 years old) in the stroller.....she had her sticky little fingers over just about anything in her reach.....


Made me remember why I used to hate shows...lol

But Doug does a great job!! His shows have been around for quite awhile....not like the other fly by night shows in this area....

But hey...made a little $$$$...got to meet Johnny Pesky and Dana Barros.....so all in all...it was a good day....

Crossing my fingers.....waiting to hear of an Ortiz show in Sturbridge the weekend before Thanksgiving!! I had supper with the promoter the other night...it was 95% done then....hopefully, they inked it today!!

which is too bad for some vintage sets do not have that percentage of cards available anywhere to add to a set!
