Could prove to be the spoiler for Yankees, Red Sox or Cleveland. They beat the Sox and Cleveland down the stretch and won their series.
Another Gemmy prediction comes true. If the Indians had swept the Rays rather than losing 2 out of 3 they would have forced a 3 way tie and 2 playoff games.
As it turns out the Yankees poor earlierseason play and the Red Sox season ending poor play with the Devil Rays did not affect them getting to the playoffs.
You gotta be in it to win it.
