New arrivals (PICS)

- Bavaria 1 Kreuzer. 1863
- Spain 1 Peseta. 1896
- Spain 25 Centavos. 1925. Lovely obverse ship design; shame about the rim dings.
- Great Britain Twopence. 1797. Not as nice as I'd hoped for, but decent enough for the money. Definitely cleaned.
- Latvia 2 Lati. 1926
- Luxembourg 20 Francs. 1946
- Mecklenburg-Strelitz 3 Pfennige. 1855
- France 5 Francs. 1869. Nicer than anticipated. What is the white crud? I've seen it on other coins as well...
- Saxony 1 Thaler. 1871. Thrilled with the quality on this one!

Dan, how do you do the backround?
The discovery for me was to place the coin on a sheet of glass or plexiglass about 4-6 inches above the actual white background. That assures that the coins have crisp borders with respect to the background, thus making it easy to use the wand tool in Photoshop to select the background areas and delete to white.
