I just added my newest purchase, a 42/41 AU58 to complete my Mercury Full Bands variety set. Ranked number 7, it is about the best I can financially handle as a high school principal. It's a pleasing, well matched set of which I am very proud. I am humbled to be a part of a great Mercury Dime group of people on these boards.
Good luck in the hunt!

Nice job, its a great set. And #7 is really good for a tough set like this.

Me too...at least it went to a fellow collector
CONGRATS!!
Isn't the 1942/1 dime cool just to keep looking at?
Enjoy!
Now, I have a question for YOU! What was more satisfying; finding a super nice 1942/1 dime and holding it in your hands and admiring it or the satisfaction itself of completing your set????
That would be interesting to discuss!
Enjoy the hunt, all of you!
