<< <i>I won 4 of the lots I wanted , but I missed a couple of them that went unbelievably high - Preussen >>
Glad you did OK Preussen, I only won 1 out of 7. Heritage brings exceptional amounts lately, and not necessarily for exceptional material, just nice coins, especially the slabbed ones that can reach astronomical levels. With their unbeatable marketing, and the wide exposure of their coins they must be a very good solution for consignments.
I will remember this one for a while.I thought I was going to win it comfortably but I was wrong. An $500 coin that sells for $1265. The previous lot, same coin, same date, raw, described as choice unc by the cataloguer, but evidently not nearly as nice sold for $300 ,just an example of the new times.

I was interested in 10 lots. Won 5. But here is a puzzlement. When I went to pay, I noted that PayPal was an option. I elected to go that route, but then I got a message that the transaction could not be completed online. PayPal, however, says that Heritage was paid. I hope that I do not end up with my money in limbo.

Dimitri - I'm glad you got at least one that you needed. I was amazed at some of the prices. One that I wanted went for 2x what I expected, but a couple others I won for less than I expected, so overall, it was a pretty good sale for me.
I also won the one I wanted from Goldberg. I "should" have won one in the WAG (German) auction, too, but I haven't heard from them. I'm beginning to wonder if they exercised my (emailed) bids, or if they're just slow. I've emailed them for status.
I had a strange experience with Superior's auction. I bid one coin , in advance from their website. The website acknowledged that I was the high bidder. I then watched it on the ebay live bidding, and although a couple of bids were registered, It appeared that I won the lot well below my maximum. After the sale I returned to the website and it still showed a (low) bid and my (high) max, but now it says I am not the high bidder. I emailed Superior and was told "oh, that lot was withdrawn...sorry for the confusion." I asked them if I could withdraw my bids after a sale and just say "sorry for the confusion," but of course I received no reply.
Next up is the Kuenker (German) auction. - Preussen

I did manage to win a couple of British shillings, though, for my type set.

What did the China Auto dollars go for?
I just picked up a "birds over Junk" that will be making a trip to one of the services. I think it will go 63.
