Carpenter sucked last night and his previous two outings weren't so hot either. I thought he had the award wrapped up a couple of weeks, but now Willis looks just as deserving.

A few weeks ago I saw Carpenter as running away with it.

But with him stumbling and Dontrelle staying steady, it's become a much closer race. If it ended today, I would say Willis would get the nod.

It's probably going to be Carpenter because his team is doing much better and he's been in the mix the entire year, how about Andy Pettitte, third, or fourth?

Petitte to me has made a tremendous comeback. Great year. He's up there in the top 5 for sure.

I give it to Willis right now unless Carpenter makes another monster start or two before the finish of the season. One of those last minute of the last round sort of things so that the judges are impressed.
