Coach's Corner

Anyone see the ad in the new SCD previewing their upcoming auction? One of the 5 highlighted lots is a 1959 Topps Clemente graded a 10 . . . by PRO. Now I know jack about Coach's Corner, but I wouldn't even consider bidding on any of their auctions after seeing that.

Late 60's and early to mid 70's non-sports

I notice that some lots keep showing up even though they were supposely won already.

I look at their auctions for football sets and their descriptions leave a lot to be desired. They are prompt about replying, but most ebay auctions give me more info.

I have no idea why anyone would use them over ebay.

That can really hurt their credibility with knowlegeable collectors by offering anything in the 'slashed and trimmed' holders.
Collecting vintage material, currently working on 1962 topps football set.
