Vintage Wrappers

Saw this in my search for 59 Topps and figured it bore watching. Can't bring myelf to pay the price though.
Another is up in lesser condition.

1959 Topps 5 cent wrapper

Of course now I have the itch to get one to go with my set.

Pack collectors out there. Do these usually go for $75-$100 in mint condition?

Anybody have one to sell for a reasonable price, or a source?

  • There is a certain bi-monthly price guide publication (not their regular monthly guide) that gives you wrapper prices. They are listed right after common card prices. Last time I bought this guide was about a year ago so I am not sure if they still do. I started to collect wrapper but gave up and sold them. I kept the goudey wrappers though.

I am a collector of a 59 set raw. I wanted to have a wrapper to go along with my set.......

The wrapper I bought cost me $53 plus S/H. It would grade EX-MINT and I bought it almost two years ago. I thought it was a good price at the time and am happy with it. I had watched many auctions before I bought it.
