Thailand coins

Any member who can read thai years ?
With this hobby I learned to read islamic, hebrew and even japanese numbers, but with Thailandia I lost the battle!
If someone can help me I'll post or email the pictures. There are 5 "unknown year" coins.

The numbers tbirde56 posted below don't look quite like the numbers in my children's alphabet book, but they're close enough to give you a good guess for the date.
But remember: by the Thai calendar, this is year 2548. So to translate Thai calendar years to Gregorian, subtract 543 years.
Best wishes,

I've pretty well gotten down the consonants but am just beginning to learn the vowels like mi-me-li or sara arr. Oy, Supunsa, my office manager, posted a chart of the vowels sounds in the dining room, and four pages of computer print-outs to explain them.
But it's beginning to take shape in my mind. I'm beginning to recognize most of the consonants ... the numbers ... and a few of the vowels. Now when I go walking, I'll take one of the staff with me and I'll try to piece together the words on the signs. Sound them out. Sometimes I can; usually I can't. But it's coming and it's fun. I feel like I'm just about beginning to get it, and it's very exciting to me. Nice language. And nice people.
Warm regards from Bangkok,
