I really wish they'd start on time. My lots are like 700 into the auction and I've got better things to do.

Everything I write is my opinion.

Thanks, and the same to you. I actually would be surprized if we had any overlap.

They are finishing up with lunch presently; most probably roast beef and chicken salad sandwiches, potato salad, garnish, chips for the non-calorically challenged
Ummmmm!! Time for key lime pie, and french apple torts.......
Check the food!! they're off again......but alas, I must go make money instead of spend it.

Crap...lovely...these are the "pristine" pieces I got from Lorich who wouldn't stand up for them after they were graded lower than he had them graded...I lost $1000 on each piece...beware Lorich!

Cacheman, we will all miss this coin. You should be proud you've had it. I'd love to see one of your beautiful photos of it for the last time.

You're looking at it Dimitri...I never could get a decent shot of this one while it was in the slab so I always relied on dealer pictures....

Prices realized w/o BP
I was so sure Lot 3059 would go for more than the estimate that I didn't bother entering the fray, and according to the Prices Realized listing it was "withdrawn, passed or combine" - in other words it could have been mine.
Here's my Goldberg take away
