Do you care that the Sacramento Monarchs tonight won their first WNBA championship?


I'm guessing most people don't, but it's pretty sad that the Kings, who have had tons of talent through the years, didn't win a title before the monarchs.

I'll tell you this - I find it hard to take a pro team seriously that plays its home games at a casino.

There are a number of good professional women's sports out there. Some women's sports in my opinion are actually better to watch than similar men's sports. Women's tennis is definitely better to watch than men's tennis. Women's volleyball is definitely better to watch than men's volleyball. Women's gymnastics is definitely better to watch than men's gymnastics.

To me though women's professional basketball is painful to watch. I have tried watching it but it just isn't my cup of tea. I'm not saying women's basketball isn't good sport - those women play very hard - but to me it just isn't good sports entertainment...in other words...boring.
