in 10 innings.
These races are fierce this year. I think in order for the Red Sox to continue to win they are going to have to clone Papi to compensate for their very crappy pitching.

Get lost. You are probably another Axthole ID.
So, YOU GET LOST for the good of the board as you obviously have nothing to bring to it.

Unlike the yankees, the red sox didn't have to spend over $80 million to have mediocre pitching.
Like the yankees, you are pathetic spammy.

NY Yankees IP H R ER BB SO HR ERA
Small (W, 9-0) 5.0 10 4 4 2 2 0 3.59
Proctor 2.0 3 2 2 0 0 1 5.26
Gordon 1.0 2 1 1 0 1 0 2.48
Embree 0.0 2 2 2 0 0 0 7.43
Rivera 1.0 1 0 0 0 0 0 1.34
By the way, Schilling looked pretty good tonight.

His excuse will be 'well he should...it was against the last place D'rays!' He's just like stalin...they speak out of both sides of their mouths, and neither one ever makes any sense.
I like how you picked selectively handpicked certain pitchers. Why don't you compare team ERA and Runs Against?
<< <i>I like how you picked selectively handpicked certain pitchers. Why don't you compare team ERA and Runs Against? >>
I didn't - that was your entire Yankee staff tonight against Baltimore.

Moron.
That was the line from tonight's game.
Or are you not a fan?
This oughta be good!

Wait until he edits his post and calls you delusional!
I know it is one game and you selected on that. Use the whole freaking season. I see Axthole is back to name calling.

Is that like calling me delusional earlier when I called you out for CHANGING your post from saying 'I never said Torre should be manager of the year' to some nonsense?
Pot calling the kettle black?
edit: 'Use the whole freaking season'? Uhm, you don't want to use Chacon's numbers in Colorado, just in NY....so which is it? Should we use the whole season, or just when they fit you?
The Rockies are not the Yankees. I am only care how they did on my team and how they help the Yankees get to the promised land, something your team has NEVER seen.

Unlike you spammy, I like my team whether or not they EVER win a world series.
Your entire 'fandom' of the yankees is predicated around the fact they've won 26 world series and 13 penants (a fact you've mentioned countless times). The only reason you say you follow them is because they've won the most world series.
When are you going to get it through your fat head that being a real fan of a team is not based around how many games they win, or how many titles they've won, but around being a fan? It's a sad, sad world you must live in to owe no allegiance to a team, but only presume to follow them because of their past success.
What kind of sports fan spouts off ad nauseum about how big a fan he is, simply on the number of world series 'his' team has one? I'll give you a hint: he's not a real fan by any stretch of the imagination.
You know what? I am taking a page out of WinPitcher and not going to reply to your assinine, back word logic posts.
<< <i>back word logic posts >>
You mean backward logic, right?
<< <i>No, au contrare. If I was born in Chiicago and grew up rooting for the Cubbies I would still be a lovable Cubs fan. I just love how you avowed not to reply to my posts and here vwe go all over again.

Backwards logic?
You, sir, are the backwards one. You implore ctsox to use 'an entire season's' worth of stats, but then want that changed when it suits your boy Chacon and only use the part of the season when he's on the yankees?
/sigh
are you really this moronic or are you just playing one on these boards?
May the best team win the AL East!!!!

Hey Zepellin, what baseball team do you root for?

Hey spammy, which one are you rooting for this week?

What is with these guys who intentionally spew the wrong name? At least when you are called Spammy it is ironic.
I am a long suffering CUBS fan but I will never waiver on my allegiance. Wait...unless they spend $200mil for mediocrity.
EDITED TO ADD: A wiser man may have realized this by my tagline and my avitar. The ZEPHYR's were the first professional Chicago basketball team and the person quoted in my signature is Ryne Sandberg. He played for the Cubs.

WAIT WAIT WAIT
You were not born in NYC and currently live in Connecticut. Obviously, you don't have a "true" home team... So why did you pick the Yanks as your favorite?

He's not shy in admitting it's because they have the most world series wins, and that's why he's a fan.

I was born in the state of New York.
