3) Jason Varitek - anyone who needs to wear a "C" on his cap to show he is captain is full of himself.
Like or respect:
1) David Ortiz - awesome player and seems to be a really nice guy.
2) John Olerud - has always been a class act.
3) David Wells - he is really an embedded Yankee and spy.

Jeter - Team leader, clutch player, class act.
Bernie - Nice guy, clutch hitter (more past than present), team player.
Joe Torre - not a player, but best manager in the league, should get MOY for winning with scrap-heap pitching
Hate:
Sheffield -- Pompus Ass hired gun. Thinks he is more important than anyone else.
The Big Useless -- Pompus Ass hired gun. What does he have against Posada catching him? Underperformed for his $16 million salary.
Giambi -- Big Cheater, Lied, and is likely juicing again.
<<should get MOY for winning with scrap-heap pitching>>
I agree with you there.

$200 million payroll and barely scratching to the playoffs? Manager of the year? hah!

I agree with you there too.

You are hallucinating again.
Oh, and by the way welcome back and stop polluting my thread. Are you a Red Sox or Yankee fan?
<< <i>You are hallucinating again. >>
You, sir, are the one hallucinating.
You posted what I quoted, if you didn't post it, why did you edit out your post with a reply of 'Doity Poity'?
Busted.
As usual, you are avoiding the fact you got busted with moronic reasoning. Try to veer off topic a bit harder next time!
Doity Poity means Axtell please don't post in my thread. Remember your public promise to this board?

Torre does not spend the money. Barbs about the payroll should be cast at the GM. In some respects it is TOUGHER to get a collection to egotistical hired guns to play as a team. The Lakers had Shaq and Kobe for 3 years, but it took Phil Jackson to deliver a championship.
What the Yanks SHOULD do is fire Cashman, and lure Billy Beane over (i.e. double his salary), give him a $125 million payroll, and use the farm system the way you should. Give the rest of the money to the Royals and Pirates so they are not so pathetic.
Shanty-Townie, if you must know Doity was a play on the word "Dirty" as in Dirty Harry. Now get lost Houston fan. LOL
Oh, I might add Manny doesn't bother me because Manny is, well, Manny. I even kind of liked Pedro with his little Nelson friend routine

It's not like Johnson is a knuckleballer. And his "personal catcher" is hitting a buck-fiddy, kind of hurts the offense.
Doogie Howser, please respect the rules of my question.

Axthole, Shanty-Townie, dgbaseball, ctsoxfan, Cornhusker1 and RipublicaninMass's very red faces when the Yanks knock Curt Baby and the Red Sox outta the playoffs.

HUH?!? Do you read what you post? Is that like "Shanty-Townie"? I'm assuming you are attempting to make a joke... Please elaborate because neither name makes any sense.

Oh yes sir mister sir!
<<It's not like Johnson is a knuckleballer.>>
Cornhusker1 I was a little teed off at Johnson when I heard he doesn't like Posada for whatever reason. Randy can be surly.

Three things:
1) You shall be shown respect when you respect posting (see your instructional video below)
2) Keep copy/pasting that "phrase" on your posts and perhaps one day you will start to believe it

Bubba Crosby makes per year what Pay-Rod makes for 2 games!!
Some of those guys have part of their salaries picked up by other teams -- i.e. Leiter, Bellhorn, Embree, and Pay-Rod.
Actually, the Yankees got a bargain when they got ARod because Texas payed quite a bit of his salary. That is what PO'ed the Red Sox owners so much.
Who dat? Who dat? Who dat...
So instead of having, "Red Sox, who dat breathing down your neck, who dat?"
It should be, "Who dat? Who dat? Who dat breathing down your neck?"
But considering your use of grammar, your butchering doesn't surprise me.
Are you kidding? Best I can tell from newspapers, the Yankees are paying (averaged out) to around $18m/year of his salary. Only a Yankee could call that a "bargain".
Regardless, it's absurd to split hairs about guys on the Yankee roster being paid by other teams. There are significantly more Yankee castaways and trade-offs littered throughout the majors still receiving checks from George than vice versa.
<<BTW Spammy, you know the true saying goes Who dat? Who dat? Who dat...>>
Shanty-Townie, I see that my little questionaire for Yankee and Red Sox fans bought in a lot of riffraff posters like yourself into the mix.
