If the Yanks win, he will state how great of a comeback it was, yada yada yada.
If the Yanks lose, he will state how bad they are and how lucky the other team was.
Either way, there is no getting rid of him.
Remember these Chuck Norris Facts
1. When Chuck Norris does a pushup, he isn't lifting himself up, he's pushing the Earth down
2. According to Einstein's theory of relativity, Chuck Norris can actually roundhouse kick you yesterday
3. There are no such things as lesbians, just women who have not yet met Chuck Norris
After the GREATEST CHOKE IN BASEBALL HISTORY last year, I'm afraid he might kill himself!!
As a Red Sox fan, after the GREATEST COMEBACK IN BASEBALL HISTORY, I'm set for at least 10 years!!
Frankly, I'd like to see the Indians and Red Sox make the playoffs, but could care less whether the Yanks or ChiSox fill the other slot (I'm assuming the Angels will win the West).
and and and and and
Axthole, Shanty-Townie, dgbaseball, ctsoxfan, Cornhusker1 and RipublicaninMass's very red faces when the Yanks knock Curt Baby and the Red Sox outta the playoffs.
I am a Phils fan, but also grew up rooting for the Red Sox second and Yankees third
Mainly because the Yankees got rid of some people, signed Giambi and then Arod ... then Johnson (knew that was a bust) but also because of Gemmy, I would love to see the Yankees lose.
Nigtmare for Fox's ratings as well.
<<but also grew up rooting for the Red Sox second and Yankees third>>
That is really weird rooting for both the Red Sox and Yankees. Can't make up your mind? LOL
Double the pleasure, double the fun
1) A $200M+ team misses the playoffs
2) Knowing Spammy is at home, curled up in the fetal position, and crying himself to sleep.
I would just drag out the Yankee Master Collections and my Yankee memorabila and console myself by reminiscing about the Yankees 26 World Wide Championships.

And how many different boxes/packaging are out there, if any?

I don't understand the point of your question?

In regards to the master yankee master collection. You are the resident "expert", are you not?
Yes.
Do you mean if the collection wasn't sealed? How many different type of wood boxes, i.e Mahogany? Are you asking a legitimate question or just being facetious?
How many?
<< <i>There were 500 sets. 102 I can confirm having broken up by tracking them on eBay. Each set has the number engraved, i.e 250/500, on the mahogany box which is lined with velvet where the cards are housed. Each card also has the number engraved except the Mystery Card.. There were 25 World Series cards, each one representing one of the Yankees 25 World Series to date (2000 they were manufactured) and 10 Game Used Bat cards and one "Mystery" card. A true sealed set has the "Mystery" card sealed, the mahogany box is inserted in a blue pinstriped box which is shrink wrapped and then sealed in a hard white cardboard box with Upper Deck embossed sealing tape. I have often seen the sets as advertised as "Sealed" on eBay when it is still in the shrink wrapped blue box but missing the white box. I am hgihly suspicious of these since therev are shrink wrap machines. Also it is very easy to resale the Mystery card which comes in a blue pinstriped cardboard sleeve. >>
Who are you and what have you done with Spammy?!?!?!

More of those elite computer skills!
You try it expert. It's a CU Board limitation which masks the hyperlink. If you figure it out I will hire you. Yeah, right. LOL
Come on Shanty-Townie....admit it...you could care less about the Yankee Master Collections and were just yanking my chain.

And the resident plagiarist because he didn't write this:

I most certainly did write it. Anyone familiar with my expertise on the set would know.

Not your 'expertise' whatever that is, but the fact that the write up was spelled correctly, with proper grammar, 2 things you seem unable to do.
<< <i>I most certainly did write it. Anyone familiar with my expertise on the set would know. >>
And everyone that reads your daily Yankees spam knows this is not your writing style:

Here is an archived post from way back in 2001. There are many more of my posts there but I am not going to spend energy looking them up for you. Unfortunately at the time of these archived posts there was a system error on the CU Message Boards so many messages are repeated numerous times in the thread below. Anyone who knows me form the Sports Cards and Memorabilia board knows it IS my style. Bye Bye.
2000 Upper Deck Yankee Master Collection Thread - February 2001
I see you wrote at least one post:
<< <i>Hi Guys,
How do you like my new New York Yankee Icon? Somebody uploaded it as a new choice >>
OK, Shanty-Townie, whatever you say.
<< <i>OK, Shanty-Townie, whatever you say. >>
Great reasoning, Spammy! You are so right! How did I not think of it that way??!
Still waiting for you to elaborate on the clever name you gave me.
Oh, by the way it is quite apparent, Shanty-Townie, that you do not frequent the Sports Cards and Memorabilia board since you would know my style when I post about those sets.

Because YOU are not making the posts, which is quite apparent
And Shanty-Townie means???
Yeah, right, I have a ghost writer.
Shove it

<< <i>whoops, i mistook you, milton is the guy in my avatar. rent office space - great movie >>
Special Edition DVD coming out soon! And thinkgeek.com has that red swingline stapler for sale.
Great, great movie....my favorite scene is either Michael rapping to the Geto Boys in his car, and turning it down and locking the doors when that guy walks by, or when all 3 of them are beating up the 'pc load letter' printer in the field.
GREAT movie.
anyway 2 more losses and the community might be able to take this board back

"what the f*** does PC load letter mean?"
As far as your second statement, one can only hope and pray the yankees lose so spammy will retreat to his basement and suck on his thumb for the next 6 months.
