Those D-Rays are tough ain't they? Every time Crawford gets on base he almost always get to 2nd Base. Whoever wins the AL East will be a tale of which team plays the bottom dwellers better down the stretch.

    Here's to Tampa Bay!!!! I hope they sweep the Red Sox.

    What a tough loss tonight - first of all, David Wells gets absolutely hammered and can't finish 3 innings - not acceptable! It seemed like every time the Sox had the game going their way, those pesky D-Rays kept coming. You wonder how they keep getting up for these games, when their season was over in July, but they certainly do. This is going to be an exciting two weeks...

    The only bright spot was the debut of our rookie pitching phenom Craig Hansen. He was hitting 96-97 on the gun, and throwing strikes. We could have used more than just one inning from him.

    The D-Rays are such hard rock team, they have the ability to beat the Red Sox silly. I am surprised they don't have a better record.

    ctsoxfan, if the Devil Rays get a few good pitchers they are gonna be very tough next year. It will be interesting to see if Lou stays since earlier in the season he said that he wants out of Tampa Bay. I heard Tampa Bay might let him out of his remaining 1 year of his contract. With the Rays on the cusp of a winning team we will see.

    Deut, they have one of the best records in the AL since the All Star break. I think it's probably Cleveland, Yankees, and Devils Rays since the break.

    Pinella will be manager of the Yankees next year after Torre gets fired. It's a done deal. I heard Lou already bought a house in northern Jersey.

    I was thinking the same, but Piniella already has had two rounds with Boss George in the 1980's. Also Torre still has a year left on his contract at a substantial sum.
