September Paypal Code....save 10%

Hey guys, just wanted to share the new Paypal code.
Offer expires 9/18/05 as I was told, but it still worked tonight so maybe it's extended. Not sure how many times you can use it.
You will save 10% on your final purchase. I just bought something for $39.52 which includes shipping. After the discount, my total was $35.87.

The code is CELEBRATE in caps.

It's real simple....no strings attached.

1. Shop for items where paypal is accepted
2. Bid and win or Buy It Now
3. Pay from your paypal account or click the Pay Now button
4. Enter offer code ("CELEBRATE") during checkout at the bottom of the page just above the "Pay Now" button.

Let me know if it still works....I just used it 10 minutes ago.

try "CELEBRATE-1" for $25.00 off.. (it expired on the 18th also, so i dont know if it'll still work..)

Arent you posting this on the 19th and the offer expired on the 18th, or am I missing something here? BTW CELEBRATE-2 was 10% off and expired at midnight last night.

Yes, I'm aware it's the 19th, and the offer said it expires on the 18th, but it still worked tonight (the 19th) so I'm assuming
it's extended. So I'm not complaining. As far as where these codes are coming from, it's basically just word of mouth. I have
no idea if there is a list somewhere or how they originate.

I was able to use a code and saved nearly $10! CELEBRATE-1 worked for me. But, it's a one time usage. The other code CELEBRATE did not work for me when I tried to use it about 5 minutes ago.

I tried the "CELEBRATE-1" and it didn't work. "CELEBRATE" did work, and saved me 10%

None of the codes work for me.
CELEBRATE - says that the code has not yet been activated. Please try using it later.
CELEBRATE-1 and CELEBRATE-2 - This redemption code cannot be used from your paypal account.

I wish I would have known earlier so I could have saved some money on my big purchases.

weird - i tried the paypal celebrate code with one purchase and it said 'not activated yet'. i tried again with another purchase and it accepted the code with the 10% discount.

Ebay is celebrating their 10th aniversary. They sent out "Thank You Savings Certificates" (I got one from ebay in the mail about 2 weeks ago! For $25.00 off on an ebay/PayPal auction/purchase).

On the 'ticket-sized' certificate, my user id printed on it. There was an "offer code", it was: CELEBRATE-1

It said on their certificate, expires on 9/18/05 (I used it, and got $25.00 off! Wow! thanks ebay!)

I just used CELEBRATE five minutes ago and it worked. 10% off. CELEBRATE-1 has "expired".

Maybe the reason it may be working for some and not others is that it only applys to ebay items paid via PayPal. So if you tried to pay for a non-eBay item it may not have worked or posibly if you did not go through the eBay items won on PayPal. Not sure but this would be my guess.

CELEBRATE just saved me 10 % of the ending auction price when I paid for it at the paypal site.

Remember, you have to type it in and then hit the 'redeem' button for it to work.
