...I picked-up two 1961 Fleer PSA 9s, I paid $30 over SMR, but I wanted them both, to just "salt away for a rainy day"!

Hey, if it was good for you, the heck with the SMR. I figure what I pay over SMR (usually a lot) is the premium for the excitement of going to the mailbox every day.
