Those 81's can drive you nuts - did you pull any Montana's, even OC from the 8 racks?

  • Not a one, my friend!

Only have one in my collection . . . busted in 1981.
  • A few decent cards. Nothing to write home about, however. Examples:

Sorry to hear you didn't pull a Montana. Even if you had the box, it would be luck of the draw.

It's still fun to open and hope!

I'm getting ready to open 4 vendings and see if I can come close to an 83T complete set?

Just keep tryin - you always post great stuff!

    thanx

Those 2, especially the White Shoes Johnson - look gradeable. I remember opening a wax box of 81's a while ago, and I was only able to grade a few commons. Even those didn't all come back 9's...it's a tough year for grading.

  • The Lofton and the Johnson look like 9's to me, MeatHook... nice.
  • Good luck if you grade them meat.

I hope you get the grader who just got a "nooner" and they come back 10's!

  • njmh,

Nice lookin' '81T fb. Can you believe they're almost a quarter of a century old already?!

I've had this Montana since '81. Probably won't have it graded with it being so off-center...
