Is it me or did Topps Turkey Red go down the toilet?

It seemed to me that there was plenty of anxious people that couldnt wait to get their hands on the Topps Turkey Red. I was expecting many posts, maybe not nearly the length of the Heritage, but a decent one nonetheless.
Do you all think that Topps crapped out on the Turkey Reds? Is the set too easy to put together? Seems like all the hype just washed away...quite quickly.
