A short status report on my 63 set breakup-approximately 150 cards have been reserved so far-I have been using John Ambach's data base on the last three years of e-bay sales-it is more accurate then SMR.If my projections are correct I may recover 85 percent of my investment.I calculate this is 15 to 20 percent more then I would get my using an auction house as the total fee for handling the transaction would be 20 to 22 percent for the entire set.Will keep you all advised as this may answer the question on what course of action to take when one wants to sell.one thing I know already is that its lots of work taking this path.Moral of the story is that this is not a money making investment-its all about the thrill of the chase in putting a set together.But there come a point when you need to raise funds to continue to enjoy the thrill and pride of putting a high grade set together-Duke
