sports memorabilia (cardinals) help post

i'm a coin collector and know nothing about sports collecting, even though my
son is named after nolan ryan. i just never picked up the hobby. any help would be appreciated.
i have two newspapers (st. louis post dispatch), excellent condition, from the morning after
the cards won the 82 series and then the next day after when they had the parade etc..
and then a bunch of pendants and pins that i guess were purchased at the game.
question is, is it worth anything or are these types of items something i should just give away to
somebody who appreciates/collects such things. thanks again for any help here.

I have a bunch of similar stuff from the A's and 49ers Championships in the 1980s. They have little or no value here in the Bay Area.
  • I would appreciate something like that being a Cardinals fan and i'm sure others would as well.

Worth a shot to list them on Ebay, but let me know if you do first.

  • Thanks for the info. Pretty much what i had figured.
If they go to ebay, i will definetly contact you first.

I was at game 7 in 82. When Sutter came in we knew
    the game was on ice.......
still, i have too much in a small house to keep all of this stuff.
  • Please LMK. I would be interested. Even if i get outbidded. Do you have scans?
