CRAP FOR SALE! GET YOUR CRAP RIGHT HERE!! ***closing hours! Don't miss your chance for some crap!

I will post the eBay links soon, when they are live. (I'm doing this from work and having to deal with interruptions, so I am trickling them onto eBay one at a time.)

Have fun! Take the road less traveled! Collect holey crap!
Put one on your keychain! Pin 'em to a bulletin board!
Be a lunatic and wear them on a vest or hat! Be the envy of your friends (NOT!)

19-piece Holey Type coin lot
(10 large cents, 2 silver 3-cent pieces, 1 nickel 3-cent piece, 1 Bust half dime, 3 Seated half dimes, 1 Bust dime, 1 Seated dime)

1803 Draped Bust cent with nice detail but a rough, poorly-placed hole, probably from an old-fashioned square nail.
(Coin is a little more chocolatey brown and a little better looking than the scan)

1805 Draped Bust quarter with contemporary square nail hole.
(SOLD- Cladiator took it)

image

1806 Draped Bust quarter with two holes
(Formerly in a PCI red-label slab- I believe I got this from Braddick a few years back)

Update: hey, I just noticed the old scratches on the reverse of this aren't so random- they form the letter "J"! So maybe it was a crude love token. Cool.

1817 Capped Bust half
(Holed and plugged, obvious cleaning. SOLD- it has a date with destiny and Goose3's keychain)

image

1834 Capped Bust half
(knife-tip stabs or punchmarks and some hits indicate an attempted hole-otherwise a decent looking coin)

image

1834 Capped Bust half (nice VF30-35 detailed coin with medium grey toning)

The next two (Spanish Colonial silver and Roman bronze) are listed as a single lot.

Fourth Century ancient Roman bronze holey (Constantius?)

A cool and somewhat scarce holey 1767 Potosi half real with the Pillars of Hercules.

And an Unholey One: this one is NOT crap.

Unless you happen to be one of those poor, unenlightened souls who think all Darkside coins are crap.

1907-H British North Borneo half cent, VF
