I was absolutely thrilled to pick up this POSTCARD up in an auction today. I was also shocked at the price. I will post the auction below. For those that are interested some facts about this team. They won the American Assc. 3 years in a row 1905-6-7. They were mostly made up of former Major Leaguers. Pictured in no particular order are Ollie Pickering, Rudy Hilswitt, Jap Barbeau, Lefty davis, Jack Ryan and Bill Hart. for you T206 collectors I'm sure you will recongnize some of the names. Some played in the Majors before and after this team and some were called up during the season. A great fact Ollie Pickering actually had the first at bat for the American League ever. 4 games were scheduled on opening day and 3 rained out so he has that honor. I knew about this team going in and usually cards with major leaguers, (and this many) command a premium. I'm glad I did my homework.

Thanks BF. I know its not a baseball card but how many of these pieces of history are left out there? Maybe no more than a handful. Rare item and 100 years old in January.
