===================================================================================================

A Few Words About My Morgan Dollar Purchasing Selection Criteria:

I have been collecting Morgan Dollars for the past 35 years, and have hand selected each of these coins for my personal collection. Please refer to my PCGS SBG Morgans PL/DMPL Registry Set to see the high quality Morgan Dollars that I collect.

My preference is to select high eye-appealing coins, typically MS-64 and above, wth some extra pop such as Prooflike or Semi-Prooflike fields with some contrasting cameo frosty devices. I think that cameo contrast Morgans are far more attractive than totally frosty coins.

I prefer to purchase and collect coins that are solid to high-end for their respective grade, and always avoid overgraded coins. My personal grading "sweet spot" is for MS-64 PL Morgans, which I feel are aesthtically pleasing, and provide high eye-appeal at reasonable market prices.

I am offering Free Shipping, 7-day return privilege, and 100% satisfaction guarantee on all coins sold. I strive to maintain the very highest level of client satisfaction with every sale, and will be pleased to provide you with client references upon request. I guarantee it!!

  • Stu,I got a question for You if a 1892S IS worth $185 in ef-40 and $1700 in au-50
in Your judgement what is it worth in ef -45 ?
Thanks in Advance for Your help

Jim: In answer to your following question, somewhere in between... image

Actually, since this coin is so very price sensitive to grade, the pricing would depend upon how nice an XF-45 it is, and whether it's PCGS or NGC certified.

I woudl guess that its value could be approx 1/3 of the way in between the two prices that you mentioned ~ $600-$700

    I hope that this helps...

Stuart, I received the 1880-O NGC MS62 Morgan today. What a super coin. If this one
is an MS62, then I wish all of my Morgan's were just like it.

    Thanks again.

    Hi Stuart,

The coins came in the mail yesterday and I am very happy with them. I will admit I was a little hesitant about the NNC graded coin but your assesment of the accuracy of the grade was right on!

    Thanks!
