Damn! Was outbid on a '68 OPC Rocky Card!

Its just horible to see Rocky Colavito in a White Sox uniform! (Since I spent the '50s and early '60s growing-up in Cleveland, Go Tribe!). He played "zillions of games for the Tribe", but only 60 games in 1967 for the Chi Soxs.

My childhood Cleveland baseball hero! ...And boy oh boy! It was exciting to witness Rocky Colavito "knocking it out of the park" in Cleveland!


...Well, was outbid by another Rocky fan tonite!

FWIW 50 years ago today The Rock made his major league debut, growing up he and killebrew were favs of mine.

He wound up in NY that fall of 68 and then called it quits. between 56 and 66 though he was one of baseball's best.

For some reason Rocky is a real popular player. I dont know too much about him or his career but make sure to step up on the next Rocky you see, there are plently of collectors out there.
