FSH Only: "A History of the United States Mint - New Orleans, Louisiana"

I have available for sale photocopies of "A History of the United States Mint - New Orleans, Louisiana". This approximately 90 page manuscript, written in 1970 by an architecture student at LSU, discusses the history of the building that housed the New Orleans Branch Mint, from its original construction to its many renovations. The manuscript also includes the text of the original construction contract, an excellent bibliography (that lists a lot of obscure references), floorplans and photographs of architectural details of the Mint building.

Please note: The "original" that I have is a copy-of-a-copy, so the print quality (especially of the photographs) isn't 100%, but it's not too bad (except for one or two of the floorplans). There are also some pencil marks in the margins, but all of the text is very legible.

This is a very rare manuscript. The author estimates that no more than 20 copies were originally produced in 1970. (Two of them are/were in the New Orleans Public Library.)

Price: $10.00 (post paid) for a double-sided photocopy held together by a small binder clip.

Please PM me if you want a copy.

Thanks.
