I didn't realize cards originally came in plastic slabs

I think the seller is mixing metaphors.

    I remember the old time card collectors talking about getting slabbed T 206's with thier tobacco and cracking them out and resubmitting hoping for higher grades...

    I always thought that writing "fragile" or "do not bend" was an open invitation to a USPS worker to do what they wanted to the package.

    I hope they compensated the editor heavily for his or her work on that book. Maybe some french benefits image like a Ryan RC in a 10 slab, would be well deserved....ugh.
    Collecting: Pretty much anything and everything, but raw '62s, Ripken and anything from my boys in Steeltown take top priority.
