Unbelievable. He left an $8,000,000 signing bonus on the table, and is risking it all by not taking it while he can. If he gets a serious injury this year, that offer's long gone. Even if he stays healthy this year, he'll be franchised or transitioned next year, and still won't get the money he was offered now. I just don't get what players are thinking today.

The Eagles are one of the best teams in football at managing the salary cap. That is an important reason why they have been so successful and will continue to be. That and drafting extremely well. Westbrook is a heck of a player but if he leaves next season, then he leaves. The Eagles have drafted well and have some very promising running backs on their roster similar in style to Westbrook.
