Today is acually the 18th business day. They count the day after recieved as day one, and they wouldn't count yesterday as a business day because of the holiday. So under their guidlines they have until Thursday.

The Mays was the one I had posted that you can actually read his name, I guess since it looks diffrent it can't be authenticated??? I had stone post a pic earlier of this card, maybe he still has it. I am 99% sure that is is an early Mays auto, there are "hints" of the illegible BS he signs now. I guess as the bighurt would say "leave that up to the certified professionals"

That's a shame about your auto.

I assume you're a little disappointed with that submission.

Dare I ask? 1989 score Nick Esasky and 1989 upper deck Fred Lynn?

    Were these all autos?
  • I'd guess these are all autos since I don't believe you can mix auto/non-auto. I'd be interested to see some scans if you get a chance.

What does a McGwire PSA/DNA auto card go for these days? And are you looking to part with yours?

I am actually keeping that for it is a set I want to have all the minor league turn major league stars psa/dna. It has Mcgwire, Canseco, Bo Jackson, and the last auto I need is Glavine.

Nick Esasky makes me wonder....how much time does PSA/DNA spend on the authentication of an auto like that?

Were the Bo Jackson, Big Mac and Canseco just on the bay? They looked very nice if they were, I almost bid on them.

I have a couple Macs I need to send in.....1987 Topps and 1987 Fleer Update. Obtained in person November 29, 1987 at Orlando Expo Center...$5.00 each for the auto. I had met Mac in the hotel prior to the show, was very nice...I was 17 at that time, so he actually talked to me a bit.

    1960s & 1970s Topps decade Cincinnati Reds
    2006-2016 A&G HOFers
  • ^^ One would think they wouldn't spend a lot of time with Esasky considering someone would have to be nuts to forge his auto! I've wondered the same about a lot of guys because I'm putting together Baseball and Football HOF Auto sets and I've got a bunch of the lesser known guys, especially in football, that I need to send in for grading and authenticating. I just wonder the chances of paying $20 and having a Bullet Bill Dudley or John Henry Johnson come back as unable to authenticate after paying about $2 for the card.
