What's the lowest grade that should be submitted?

Someone once did an analysis of 1950's cards on this board. Looked at the lowest grade needed for the best yield for submission of 1950's commons. Looking over the 50's common specials, should 54's and 56's in the PSA 4-6 grade be submitted, or would their worth be less than the grading fee?

  • 54' topps psa 6's go for $10-12. unless you are doing a bulk submission and saving on postage i'd say a 6 common is not worth it. 4 and 5's definitley not.

'54 Topps PSA 6s going for $10 to $12 would let me complete a set a lot quicker. They are normally at least $15 to $20.

If you can get them in on the '50s special, I would grade '54 through '56 commons in PSA 6, and scarce series commons from each year in PSA 5.
