A novel Ty Cobb auto.....

A friend of mine just picked up a Ty Cobb autograph signed on the first page of the newspaper reporting his death. I've never seen him so happy!! He couldn't wait to get it framed for display. I just didn't have the heart....

  • Don't distract him yet. He is almost finished closing a great deal on a bridge in New York.

Did your friend also recently buy tickets to see Elvis in concert? image
  • Of course, this is a joke.

I was actually looking at a Sitting Bull autograph on Ebay and it ended up over two grand. No authentication, and this guy had an old trunk and had an old newspaper with sitting bull info in it. It all looked too convenient for me with finding an old trunk with the newspaper to show some type of provenance or something. The autograph was on the wooden handle of the mirror. I have no idea how to do links or anything, but did anybody see that?

Does anybody know of a legit Sitting Bull or Geronimo autograph available??

I think Geronimo became a side show act in the late 1800's or ealy 1900's signing autographs. So his might not be too hard to get.
