Storage and display alternatives

I've always been on the lookout for alternatives to standard sports card storage and display accessories, especially for items that are not of a standard size. Standard-sized cards can be stored in boxes, 9-pocket pages, penny sleaves, top loaders, screwdowns, etc..., all made for that specific size card.

I remember back in the 80's you could find pages (either 12 or 18 pocket, I can't remember) for cigarette cards (T206's) right along side stard 9-pocket pages at shops. Anybody seen them lately? Probably not, unless you are into collecting British cigarette cards where you can find pages, although I've never had any.

What about all those stickers and stamps Topps and Fleer have produced over the years? I recently bought a couple lots of 1981 Topps baseball stickers, trying to put together a nice set (almost there), but the storage and display choices available are not acceptible to me. They are smaller than standard sized cards and I don't like the look of them in 9-pocket pages. I also don't want to use penny sleaves or top loads, because I like to look at them and they are generally not valuable enough to go to all that trouble. They also don't fit well in storage boxes. What's the alternative?

Here's one:
I always look for ways to cross-utilize storage accessories from my other hobby of stamp collecting. These stickers and most of the stamps put out by Topps and Fleer are not very different from many postage stamps, in size anyway. Why not try pages made to store stamps?

This particular type of sheet is made of acid-free black plastic, with crystal clear film pockets that stretch across the page. They are sealed on the ends. The ycan be bought with anywhere from about 9 rows of pockets to 2 rows. This one has 3. These stickers are a bit too big for the 4 row sheets, but I'd be willing to bet that the old Topps stamps from the 60's would fit nicely into either a 5 or possibly 6 row page. They are double-sided and fit any 3-ring binder.
But most of all, I think the stickers look really neat against the black background. They aren't cheap however. Cost is about $6 for 5 sheets. This 1981 set will take about 15 double sided sheets. This is actually such a cool idea however, that I may look to collect all the stamp and sticker sets, baseball or football.
