Interesting that the Eagles cut Hugh Douglas. And of course the reason was stated that he didn't recover from an injury. Hugh Douglas was almost always injured the past few seasons. But he always did whatever was necessary to perform in a game. I don't think that was the reason he was cut. Douglas had much more than any other Eagles player, openly chastised and admonished Owens in the locker room for his behavior towards McNabb. I really believe this was the major reason he was cut...Reid did it to placate Owens. Of course Reid would never admit this even if it were true - which I think it is. Oh well, Douglas was at this point in his career only a situational second string player anyway...in any event, on with the season!
