Grades are in from ANACS....

I anticipated the net grades, and was not much less than what I expected, I am still waiting on my NGC submission (15 more).. image

Yep, they are all GB....

1. 1819 Crown, UNC details, net AU-55, cleaned, not a surprise, I expected that

2. 1820 1/2 Crown AU Details, net XF -5, cleaned, again expected that

3. 1878 1/2 Crown MS63 (bought as an AU from Heritage) (surprised and Pleased) thought it was at least high end AU

4. 1813 3 Shilling Bank Token, MS-61

5. 1812 18 Pence, MS-63

6. 1826 Shilling, UNC details, net AU-50, cleaned, expected that

7. 1886 6P MS-61

8. 1910 6P MS-60

9. 1888 4P MS-61

10. 1893 3P AU-58

11. 1797 1P Cartwheel MS-60 BN ( bought at a show in Anaheim CA at an XF-AU price.

12. 1799 1/2P MS-63 BN

13. 1902 1/2P UNC details, NET AU-55 Cleaned

    Have an image of this one? These aren't easy to find in Unc, even cleaned.

    I was anticipating high end AU, low end MS-60, so I am qite pleased

    nice pictures and the 1878 1/2 crown was a great pick up...

    That is a nicely struck 1878 halfcrown. While clearly an UNC piece, I am surprised it made 63 as well. It must be a net grade with the reverse, which looks much better (as is typical).

    It's always fun to get a higher grade from the TPG - it's more often a surprise in the other direction!
