I am upset about the loss but more worried about Wright getting hit in the neck. It was a scary moment.

<< <i>Red Sox just completed a 4-game sweep of the "bottom dwelling" D-Rays!! >>
Don't forget, that the D'rays have the best record since the all-star break! That makes them a better cellar dwellar according the spaminator.
What a day.
Despite my logo, I'm obviously a Red Sox fan (season ticket holder in fact). Just ordered the dvd set of all the post season games from last year. Not sure what to do with the first three games of the ALCS. I'd obviously never want to watch them themself. Any suggestions?
<< <i>So Axtell, what's the deal here with this "Gemmy10" fella anyways? I've been a casual observer of some of your wonderful, uh, disagreements, and figured it was about time I jumped in on the fun.

Spammy is a nuisance; you'll soon grow tired of his child-like antics where he jumps up and down anytime he is shown the yankees made a bad play, lost a game, what have you.
He is still in denial that the meltdown in last year's postseason happened; that's why he feels the need to show the red sox after the 2003 season, and doesn't think that the yankees losing 4 straight games was the biggest choke ever in sports history (I feel he may be the only person on the planet who thinks this way).
When the yankees win, and/or BoSox lose, he'll be here posting in droves; when the opposite happens, he's a quiet little mouse hiding under his bed crying his eyes out. He continually brings up the number of WS and penant wins the yankees have because that's the only reason he's a fan, and his crying those numbers out over and over makes him feel like he's a winner because his team has been successful in the past.
He's fun to debate against because the more he posts, the worse he looks. It's hard to have a battle of wits with him as he is so woefully unarmed.
The Red Sox are 12-4 against Tampa Bay this season, while the Yanks are 4-9. For the first time, maybe ever, I agree with a thread you posted - the Yanks have to (but clearly cannot) beat the "bottom dwellers" to remain in contention.
The Yanks got Ramiro Mendoza back too? So, for those keeping score - that's Embree, Bellhorn, and now Mendoza from last years Sox team cast off to the desperate Yanks. What an interesting shift of events these last few years...

The change of scenery has not helped Embree. He is still giving up at least one run in each each appearance (or so it seems). Also, how long before Mendoza'a WS ring shows up on Ebay?
