Lately I've been looking more and more at Frankies... What do you think of their future? I think they are under appreciated, although I think the same about Peace dollars.
I really like Franklin halves. I'm not entirely sure why, but I do. I guess I've always admired Ben....plus they didnt make them for a long time, which is another interesting feature to me.
there has been some speculation that the new Franklin Commem will jump start the series.
I collect them for reasons listed above- Admired the man, short series, no real stoppers ( except for condition rareites -FBL), and the Cameo proofs look real nice.
Many would call them moder crap, but I think they are a cool link/ transition coin, the last of the all silver coins.
However, when the trades start calling them hot, it is time to bail.
