For the dealers-- how have your past jobs affected your current business practices dealing coins?
I read another thread that Eagleeye posted and it referred to living in a van back in the 1980's and working as a short order cook. My how times have changed! Now Rick Snow is without a doubt the preeminent authority on small size copper coinage. I was wondering if other dealers had jobs earlier in life or other experiences which shaped the way that they do business today. I think that being a short order cook (and not wanting to go back to that) had an impact on Mr. Snow's drive to make sure his rare coin business was successful. I am curious if there are other stories from other dealers and how life experiences have impacted you (positively or negatively).
