No Qualifier?

I know this is a tired subject, but while looking for 75s, I noticed this. Take a look at the top right card, there is a blue stripe across the top of the card as if it is the bottom of the card above it on the sheet? If so, why no MC? Card though does not appear to be off center top to bottom looking at the bottom of the card.

i'm pretty sure psa does not deduct for this since it's actually not miscut or oc.

    Thanks,

  • Thats the rare '75 Topps "3 color variation"....I'd snap it up at any price!

That card should have been graded as miscut. I find cards that have part of the previous card on the sheet still attached and they go into the circular file...
  • MC (miscut)
Type of qualifier. A card that has no border, or even portions of another card. Cards with a factory miscut, such as a diamond cut, or when another card's image is on the original card will be designated MC. These cards have little value.

Maybe I'm confused, but based on PSA's own definition I cannot possibly see how that gets by w/out an MC...
Collecting: Pretty much anything and everything, but raw '62s, Ripken and anything from my boys in Steeltown take top priority.

But if it was MC should not the bottom border be cut to the bottom of the players name?

I don't think it is miscut. I have a 6 card panel of 1975 cards and the cards are laid out so that the top half color of one card is the bottom half color of the card above it on the sheet. This card may have been at the top of the sheet or have a print defect. Nontheless, I have cards graded PSA 5 that I think look better.
