If it came in the black leather case with a $20 gold piece, it's a specimen set. If it came in a red and white cardboard box it's a prooflike set (ditto if it came in a pliofilm pouch).
Both cases tended to tone the coins, and all the silver coins in an old specimen set I picked up were almost black (midnight blue, I guess).
The toning looks nice on yours.

It's in a Whitman plastic holder. Label said proof set. Shows you how much I know!
