    They've always had pretty good photos. This one in particular doesn't stand out as much to me because the reverse image seems to be kind of hazy and just a tad on the grainy side. But then again, I'm a nearly psychotic perfectionist when it comes to my images. Nice coin though.

  • Grain in photos comes from film. In digital photography it is called noise.

    Grain is caused by the size of the film emulsion.

    Noise is caused by compression and low resolutions.
