Best Switch Hitters Ever - Then and Now

It's a lost art to hit from both sides of the plate. A few modern players do it with good results. Who do you think was the best you ever saw, and who do you think is the best in the game today?
Proud of my 16x20 autographed and framed collection - all signed in person. Not big on modern - I'm stuck in the past!

    mantle and eddie murray 2 best ever chipper jones is the best today but is not in the class of power from both sides like mick & eddie.

    Ruben Sierra is very good too. Griffey is not a switch hitter

    I am surprised that gemmy didn't edit his post after the Bench answer ....

    Rose and Mantle were the best.

    Mantle was best... I am trying to recall if Rogers Hornsby was a switch hitter..

    Hornsby was a righty only, and the only man besides Teddy Ballgame to win two triple crowns.

    Mickey Mantle head and shoulders above the rest, Murray was very good and consistant for a lot of years, although his BA is a little weak, Petey didn't have enough pop, but he sure had a bunch of 200 hit years, quite impressive. Willie McGee had .295 lifetime BA and two batting titles but zero power.
