Whoa ... those aren't even close. Can you say guarantee? Obviously, I hope, it's no one around here who has been educated over the years on AT vs NT ... those Jeffs are way off. PCGS should be ashamed.
Over the years I have assembled quite a stash of '60 through '64 Proof Sets with nickels that look an awful lot like this one. All still in the original Mint packaging.
With the auctions closed and most of the lots unsold, the pictures are no longer showing. I'll take it from other posts here that the coins are obviously not NT.
Is it possible that these were somehow toned inside the original Mint pagkaging, then submitted as such to PCGS? Similarly, could they have been toned and then placed back into original pagkaging, then secured well enough to fool someone at PCGS into thinking they had never been removed? That is about the only way I could ever imagine PCGS putting obviously AT coins into holders... well the only way that somewhat excuses PCGS from making a gross mistake.

Incomplete planchets wanted, especially Lincoln Cents & type coins.

TD,
I've found plenty of those myself. But, that coin is an SMS, not a proof.

I found a website that sells an unbelievable amount of rainbow toned coins. Almost as though he has a factory spewing out the coins.
